Highlights From INTIX And Upcoming Events
Discover how Ingresso is strengthening industry partnerships and expanding our global distribution network through key 2026 events and strategic connections.
Building Stronger Partnerships At INTIX 2026
This year marked a significant milestone for Ingresso as we attended INTIX for the first time, and what an experience it was. Over the course of the conference, our team participated in more than 20 meetings and networking events, each one reinforcing why face-to-face connections remain invaluable in our industry. From intimate roundtable discussions to bustling exhibition hall conversations, every interaction brought fresh perspectives on the evolving ticketing landscape.
The conversations we had at INTIX went far beyond surface-level introductions. We engaged with venue operators grappling with the complexities of multi-channel distribution, discussed real-time inventory challenges with ticketing system providers, and explored innovative approaches to revenue growth with industry peers. These weren't just networking opportunities, they were collaborative problem-solving sessions that highlighted the shared challenges our industry faces and the collective innovation required to address them.
What stood out most was the enthusiasm for API-based distribution solutions and the growing recognition that single-point integrations can transform how venues reach global audiences. Several exciting business plans emerged from these discussions, partnerships that will help expand our distribution network and bring even more value to both venues and distributors. The energy and forward-thinking approach we encountered at INTIX has set an inspiring tone for the rest of 2026.
Key Insights From The Global Ticketing Community
INTIX brought together ticketing professionals from across the globe, and the insights shared throughout the conference painted a clear picture of where our industry is heading. A consistent theme was the growing expectation for seamless purchase journeys, starting from the very first interaction in the booking process. This focus on frictionless journeys reinforced that live availability and pricing are now non-negotiable: guests expect accurate, real-time inventory and clear options at every touch point, while partners need that same visibility to sell confidently and reduce operational overhead. This sparked real excitement around Ingresso components such as Fixture List and Arena, which allow distributors to pull live availability and interactive seat maps via API, offer customers maximum flexibility and control throughout their booking journey.
Dynamic pricing and revenue optimisation were also hot topics throughout the event. Venues are increasingly sophisticated in their approach to pricing strategy, but many are still constrained by distribution channels that can’t support real-time price adjustments. The conversation has shifted from whether dynamic pricing is valuable to how venues can implement it effectively across all their sales channels while maintaining full control over inventory and pricing by partner. Ingresso’s API is designed to support dynamic pricing in real time, giving venues the flexibility to react to demand across channels while maximising revenue opportunities.
Looking ahead, many conversations focused on the role AI is set to play in global ticketing over the coming months and years. Delegates discussed how machine learning could help forecast demand, personalise recommendations, surface optimal pricing windows, and even automate elements of customer support, all while operating across multiple markets and channels. Rather than replacing existing systems, AI is being seen as a layer that can enhance decision-making, streamline operations, and help venues and distributors respond faster to shifting audience behaviours, an evolution that aligns closely with Ingresso’s commitment to innovation in real-time, API-driven distribution.

How Real-Time Connections Drive Better Results For Venues And Distributors
The conversations at INTIX and our upcoming event schedule underscore a fundamental truth: real-time connections deliver measurable results for everyone in the ticketing ecosystem. For venues, connecting to Ingresso's distribution platform means accessing 100+ distributors through a single API integration, dramatically reducing the technical overhead and ongoing maintenance that comes with managing multiple one-to-one partnerships. This efficiency translates directly into more time focused on guest experience and revenue optimisation rather than technical integration projects.
As we continue building connections throughout 2026, we're reminded that technology is only part of the solution. The relationships we're forming at events like INTIX, Tessitura, and IPW are what truly drive innovation in our industry. These face-to-face conversations reveal the real challenges venues and distributors face, inform our product development, and create the collaborative partnerships that move the entire ticketing ecosystem forward. We look forward to continuing these conversations and building even more connections in the months ahead.
